Keolis MHI Honoured for Exceeding Emiratisation targets at Nafis Award Ceremony in Abu Dhabi
Keolis MHI Rail Management and Operations LLC, the operator of Dubai Metro and Tram, was honoured by the Emirati Talent Competitive Council (Nafis) for its exceptional Emiratisation efforts and commitment to the employment of Emiratis in the private sector, as well as its impressive dedication to supporting the UAE’s Emiratisation drive.
Keolis MHI received special honour in the category of companies that achieved three times or above of their Emiratisation targets, at the honouring ceremony of the winners of the first edition of the "Nafis Award" 2022, which was held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, and attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai who honoured the winners..

The Nafis Award was launched under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Emirati Talent Competitive Council, with an aim to recognise private companies that made outstanding Emiratisation achievements and celebrate outstanding Emirati talents in the private sector.
The award is supervised by the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council in partnership with the NAFIS programme, which was initiated in September 2021 by the Council as part of "Projects of the 50" to achieve the UAE Vision 2071. The Nafis Award also encourages skilled Emirati talents to work productively and attain competitiveness in the labour market, while attracting young people to work in the private sector as their first choice after graduation.
