Ensuring the effective Safety and Health of passenger transport and mobility services for Dubai Metro & Tram for RTA is the top priority of the Keolis MHI with the goal of "ZERO HARM" aligned with "the world leader in seamless and sustainable mobility" vision of RTA.

On day-to-day basis, we are committed to protect:

  • The Staff and Partners: by preventive measures adapted collectively and individually for their physical, mental health, safety and well-being.

  • The Community: by informing and communicating particularly with vulnerable people, near or sharing roadways or trackways and shared environments.

  • The Assets: by implementing best practices for system assurance and by improving their running performances and safety operation over their lifecycle.

The Safety & Health objectives set by the Keolis MHI to prevent injuries, illnesses, and to comply with legal and other requirements are ensured to be reached thanks to:

  • The Leadership, by engaging all members of the staff to assess and control situations and adopt appropriate behaviors demonstrating a strong safety culture. All staff members are encouraged to report any hazardous or non-compliant situation with applicable rules. Just Culture principles are applied as a way of working to improve safety. The Development and monitoring of the competencies, skills and knowledge are considered as key to reducing and mitigating any risk of human error which could affect Safety or Health.

  • The Managements Systems, by complying with all regulatory, contractual and stakeholders' requirements and standards continually reviewed and improved by the lessons learned and assurance plans. Safety & Health risk-based approach Management Systems are developed and implemented to proactively reduce risks As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP), in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 and best rail industry standards.

  • The consultation and Communication, by engaging with internal stakeholders (staff, contractors and suppliers) and external stakeholders (RTA, D&B Contractor, passengers and others) in Safety and Health.
